Whilst doing a First Aid at Work course, June and her parner went for a walk on the evening and came across a person with severe head injuries but still conscious. "I was very aware of how this person would react so I was looking, is he maybe drunk, is he aggressive or am I putting myself in danger, why is he laying on the floor?
I approached him very slowly asking him what had happened as if he was OK, I thought what Ralf the trainer had said and decided it was a real injury. I quickly established the injuries and sent my partner to the end of the road with my mobile phone to phone for an ambulance and to establish the name of the road. In the meantime as I was not carrying a first aid kit, I kept the patient calm and realising the person was becoming unconcious I decided I had to put him in to the recovery position, with my nice new coat on and blood pouring from his head. Please, carry on breathing!
I kept talking to him but nothing he was saying was making sense until the ambulance arrived and the Paramedic took over. As they put him on the stretcher and carried him to the ambulance, I could hear the words; Thank you for helping me. The Paramedic praised me for my actions and then went off in the ambulance blue lights blazing to the hospital."
On the following morning June told the class about the night before and Ralf assured her and praised her for doing the correct first aid procedures. June O Anonymous

My staff have who recently attended the Emergency (Appointed Person) First Aid course in Brighton found the course very informative and enjoyable. As a Manager of a training Company I would like to say how please I was with the booking arrangements and how well the office staff at Medi Aid handled my bookings. I have used many other First Aid providers, both large and small but found Medi Aid by far the best and excellent value for money

The first aid at Work refresher course I recently attended in Ilford was brilliant and I actually learnt more on the 2 days than the original 4 day course with Red Cross. I feel more confident in dealing with incidents and the training was relevant. I would recommend Medi Aid to any company who requires relevant quality training. The trainer explained everything in simple terms. Thank you for an enjoyable 2 days and hope to see you again in 3 years.

I have used Mediaid to deliver a range of courses for over 8 years from First aid to food hygiene. I have always found the training to be to a very high standard and related to our particular client group (Adults with challenging behaviour). Booking courses is easy with the friendly booking team and reminders when staff certificates require updating. I always used to use St John Ambulance to deliver our First Aid training until a colleague (who had recently joined us) told me his previous company had used Mediaid and found they gave excellent service and value for money. We have used them to send our staff to First Aid courses at various venues in Kent. From booking the courses through to receiving certificates the whole process is seamless. All staff have enjoyed the courses and learnt lots of useful stuff while having fun and say they feel confident to deal with situations. I always had problems getting people to volunteer to be first aiders but not now since using Mediaid. This company knows how to provide a service. All this and I am saving on my first aid training budget.

I really enjoyed the course I attended on Emergency First Aid in Canterbury. Mediaid was the 4th course I had been booked onto as all the others had canceled owing to low numbers. The trainers are very professional and from the comments I have received back from staff that have been on the courses, the content is very informative.
From a Training Co-ordinators point of view, I have found the staff very helpful and friendly and can get a course booked at short notice which is quite often the case.

I attended today the Emergency First Aid Course. I would like to say I thoroughly enjoyed the course & our instructor, Ann was very good & most helpfull with everything during the day.I have been on quite a few first aid courses over the years with various organisations & feel todays course & instructor rank very high out of all the courses I have attended.
